Madras Curry Chicken

Oats and curry? Who would have thought that they would make such an irresistible pair! With the addition of a little chicken to Madras Curry, this dish is just what you need to spice up any mealtime.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into bite sized pieces
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper        
  • Madras Curry    

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:   

  1. Prepare Madras Curry as instructed on the bag.
  2. While the oats are cooking, coat a medium sauté pan with olive oil and turn heat to high.    
  3. Season the chicken with salt and pepper. When the oil is hot, add the chicken.
  4. Once all the meat is browned, cook the chicken until an internal temperature of 165°F has been reached using a meat thermometer.  Remove chicken from pan and set aside.
  5. Once Madras Curry is cooked, add the chicken and heat through.
  6. Serve on a plate or in a shallow bowl and enjoy!
 

Madras Curry tofu

Bring some adventure to the dinner table with this Indian-fusion dish. The light texture of the tofu blends with Grainful’s sweet and spicy Madras Curry to make a healthy-but-filling meal

INGREDIENTS:

  • 12 oz. extra firm tofu                
  • Olive oil        
  • Salt
  • Pepper    
  • Madras Curry    

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:   

  1. Prepare Madras Curry as instructed on the bag, meanwhile begin preparing the tofu.
  2. Drain and pat dry the tofu.                
  3. Cut tofu into bite size cubes (1 inch squares).            
  4. In a medium non-stick sauté pan, pour enough oil to gently fry the tofu but not submerge the tofu, and turn heat to medium.
  5. Test the oil by placing one cube of tofu in the pan, if it sizzles it is ready.            
  6. Add 1/3 to 1/2 of the tofu to the pan, be sure not to overcrowd the pan otherwise the tofu will not brown properly.                    
  7. Brown one side of the tofu and flip to brown the other side.  Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  8. Set aside on a paper towel to drain and cool.                 
  9. Begin another batch of tofu and repeat.                
  10. Once Madras Curry is cooked, add tofu and stir until heated all the way through.
  11.  Serve and enjoy.
