1. Pour oats into medium saucepot. Add 3 1/4 cups water. Stir. (For your convenience, use bag for measuring cup!)
2. Bring to boil, stir, reduce heat to a simmer.
3. Cover and cook 25 minutes until oats are slightly crunchy. (5 minutes longer for softer oats.) Stir.
4. Add contents of cheese packet. (Optional: add 1 Tbsp. lowfat milk & 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter for richer flavor.) Stir and enjoy!
Crockpot: Combine oats & 3 1/4 cups water. Stir. Cook on high 1 hour 30 minutes. Once cooked, add contents of cheese packet*. Stir and enjoy!
Rice Cooker: Combine oats & 3 1/4 cups water, stir and start rice cooker. Once cooked, add contents of cheese packet*. Stir and enjoy!
